Misapor manufactures foam glass granulate, an innovative building material, 98% of which is made from recycled glass.
In addition to its excellent insulating characteristics, foam glass granulate is durable, inert, lightweight, easy to handle and withstands high pressure. It is used in the construction industry for ground insulation, lightweight aggregate, landscaping and to produce lightweight and highly insulating concrete.
Misapor’s products addresse two global megatrends, sustainability and energy saving.
In 2009, the lack of a majority shareholder capable to accompany Misapor on its path of strong growth with new investments, risks to block the future development of the company.
In order to give the company the necessary means to continue its success story and finance further expansion projects, management and a majority of sharesholders associate with Argos Soditic with the objective to grow the business further.
