Chabert Duval was the first investment made by the Euroknights III fund. Argos Soditic arranged the € 9.4 million management buy-in in October 1996.

Chabert Duval is a designer and manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom furniture. The Group sells fitted medium to high range kitchens through independent retailers (CHABERT DUVAL brand), kits through Do-it-Yourself stores or independent retailers, and bathroom furniture, principally on the French market. Chabert Duval enjoys one of the oldest brand names in the industry and has a well-established reputation for quality.

The new management revitalized the product range and implemented a strategy for growth, which allowed Chabert Duval to be listed on the Second Marché in Paris in April 1998. Euroknights III retained a 46% share in the listed company.

In May 2004, Euroknights III agreed to sell its remaining stake in Chabert Duval to French home equipment manufacturer Cheminées Philippe.
