The Fine Chemicals and Colouring Agents divisions, acquired from the industrial concern Orgasynth, have been amalgamated into the Axyntis (Active Synthesis) Group.  Axyntis, with its 339 employees, had a consolidated turnover of 77 M€ in 2006.

Through its Fine Chemicals division (Orgapharm, Orgasynth Industrie, All’Chem, Centhexim) the Axyntis Group manufactures and sells advanced intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as intermediates used in the manufacture of liquid crystals for the electronic industry. In 2006, the Fine Chemicals division had a turnover of 54 M€.

Axyntis is also present, through Steiner, in the Colouring Agents sector for petrol, paper, leather and textiles. The Colouring Agents division had a turnover of 23 m€ in 2007.
