Alkan designs and produces equipment 100% dedicated to the defence aircraft industry. The core know-how of the company lies in the design of complicated mechanical parts and systems aimed at carrying and / or ejecting any removable aircrafts accessories: fuel tanks, weapons, cameras, buoys, etc. Such products must meet severe technical specifications.

Alkan generates #50% of its sales in France and #50% at export. The company is participating in all of the major world aeronautical programs and supplies equipment for more than 35 aircraft types in more than 50 countries, including the US (with Bell, manufacturer of helicopters).

Alkan serves faithful customers: Defence procurements, international aircraft manufacturers (Dassault Aviation, EADS, BAE Systems, Embraer, Eurocopter, Sogerma, Sikorsky…), engine manufacturers (Snecma now Safran), or ammunition suppliers (MBDA, Sagem now Safran).
